Description: Ready to take your knitting to the next level? Always wanted to know what the fuss is about when it comes to sock knitting? This is the class for you! Learn to knit your very first sock, from cuff to toe. Also learn how to "magic loop" - a great technique for socks, sleeves, hats, or any small circumference knitting. Upon the completion of the workshop, you'll have your first completed sock and everything you need to complete the pair. Warning - sock knitting is highly addictive and you are likely to never stop. Proceed with caution. ;)
Skill Level: Advanced beginner. Must know how to cast-on, knit, purl, and decrease.
Required/Recommended Materials: 100g of sock yarn (wool/nylon blend), US 0 (2mm) or 1 (2.25 mm) fixed (not interchangeable) circular needles, 32" or 40" - or whatever size needed to get gauge, Removable stitch marker, Tapestry needle. We offer a 10% discount on any yarn purchased for the class. NOTE: Please have your yarn wound prior to the start of class. Thank you!
