Description:  Learn to knit the Harlow Sweater by Caidree, one of the shop’s favorite designers! 

The Harlow sweater v neck is a deep v, oversized drop shoulder style pullover. It is a timeless classic that will keep you cozy and warm. It is constructed from the top down and it is worked flat and in the round in stockinette stitch. Sweater features a neat back shoulder detail, slits on each side of the waist and classic 2 x 2 rib around the neck, waist and sleeve cuffs. As an additional help, videos are included in the pattern. 20 to 25 cm / 8” to 10” of positive ease is built in to the pattern, choose your size based on how much ease you prefer.

Materials: 

1050 - 1950 yards (960 - 1783 m) of worsted weight yarn or a combination of yarns that is the equivalent of a worsted weight yarn

Suggested Needles
US 7 / 4.50 mm, 80 cm / 32” circular knitting needles or needles to obtain gauge for the main body and double pointed needles or short 25 - 40 cm / 10” - 16” short tip needles for the sleeves+
US 4 / 3.50 mm, 25 - 40 cm / 10” - 16” circular knitting needles for the neck ribbing and / or double pointed needles or short tip needles for the sleeve cuffs+
US 8 / 5.00 mm circular or double pointed needles.

Notions
2 knitting markers, tapestry needle.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • The pattern is NOT included in the price of the class. You may purchase the pattern on Ravelry or in the shop. 

  • Class participants will receive a 10% discount on yarn for this project.
  • Class participants are required to have completed a BLOCKED 4” x 4” gauge swatch PRIOR to the first class. If help is needed with this, we are happy to offer assistance at the shop.
