Description: Have you wanted to knit a sweater, but have been too nervous to take the plunge? Sign up for this class and get all of the instruction, support and encouragement that you need! Even if you have already knit a sweater or two, you will learn techniques in this class that will give you more confidence as you move forward in your knitting journey. Students in this class will knit either the Flax Sweater or the Flax Light (your choice), both by Tin Can Knits. The pattern is free, gender neutral, size inclusive (Size newborn to Adult 6XL) and is the perfect first sweater pattern. 

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner OR just ready to make your first sweater! 

Cost: $125

Materials:

  • Aran/Worsted weight yarn
  • US 6 and US 8 needles (or those needed to obtain gauge). Everyone will need 16" needles in both needle sizes, but other lengths will depend upon the size you choose to make. 
  • Stitch markers
  • Tapestry needle
  • Waste yarn (Knitting Barber Cords highly recommended)
