Description: Always wanted to learn how to crochet, but found it intimidating? Come join us to learn the basics: how to hold the hook, how to maneuver the yarn, chaining, as well as all of the stitches listed below. You will be making a small sampler scarf which will allow you to see how easy it is to create really different looks plus practice the critical step of turning at the end of the row without losing (or gaining) stitches. Required Materials: a size H, I, or J crochet hook, 1 skein of worsted weight yarn (100g) although a second skein (or leftovers from other projects) might be helpful.some worsted weight yarn and a few removable stitch markers
