Dates: Wednesdays, March 8th March 15th, 6:00PM-8:00PM
Instructor: Coral Shuster
Description: This class will teach you the basics of color work! We will work together to knit a 2 color hat. Pattern will be included in the price of the class. In the first class, you’ll learn about color dominance, color-work tension, and reading charts. We’ll get you started on your hat and the second class will be a time for us to review any skills from class one and address any issues that may have come up while you’ve been knitting.
To find out if your 2 colors will contrast well, take a picture of the yarns next to each other and turn on a black and white filter. If the yarns look different, they’ll contrast well. If they look the same shade of gray, they won’t contrast when you work them together. Looking forward to knitting with you!
